Cookie and Browser Storage Notice

This notice explains the small files and browser storage our website uses. It works alongside our Privacy Policy. Effective date: October 11, 2026.

What we use

  • Items that remember your unlock. After you confirm your email, our pages save two items in your browser’s local storage: a marker that you unlocked the content, and the email address you confirmed. The Private Brief saves a similar marker for its calculator. We use them so you do not have to confirm again on the same device. They stay until you clear them.
  • Essential website cookies. Our website platform (WordPress) and its plugins may set cookies the site needs to run, such as security or session cookies. [List the cookies your site sets, or ask your web developer for the list.]
  • Analytics cookies. [Choose one: “We use [tool name] to understand how visitors use the site. It sets cookies that count visits and show which pages are viewed.” or “We do not use analytics cookies.”]
  • Advertising or tracking pixels. [Choose one: “We use [tool name] for [purpose].” or “We do not use advertising or tracking pixels.”]
  • Embedded services. Our pages may load fonts, scheduling tools or other content from other companies, such as Google Fonts or Calendly. Loading them sends your browser’s address and some device details to that company, and they may set their own cookies. [Confirm which apply.]

Your choices

[If you use non-essential cookies: “When you first visit, you can accept or decline cookies that are not essential. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer.”]

You can also block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Clearing this site’s data removes your unlock, so you would confirm your email again. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
